以太坊域名系统将进行重大升级！
以太坊区块链网络的域名系统正准备在下个月初进行重大升级。本次升级的核心是替换以太坊名称服务的注册商，以大大加快注册.eth、.xyz和.lux域名的过程。更重要的是，在ENS上注册的域名将被视为非同质化代币（NFT），允许它们像以太坊网络上的其他NFT一样用于购买和交换。此前，Ethereum Name Service (ENS)的首席开发人员Nick Johnson表示，注册域名的用户在5月4日之后，有一年的时间将他们的域名迁移到一个新的registar，该域名将取代现有的域名。
An effort to build a domain name system on top of the ethereum blockchain network is gearing up for a major upgrade early next month — and the project’s developers are urging stakeholders to prepare.
At the heart of the upgrade is the replacement of the Ethereum Name Service’s registrar, with the goal of vastly speeding up the process of registering .eth, .xyz, and .lux domain names. What’s more, names registered on the ENS will be treated as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), allowing them to be bought and exchanged like similar kinds of tokens on the ethereum network.
During an April 16 blog post, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) lead developer Nick Johnson wrote that registered domain users have one year after May 4 to migrate their domain to a new registar that is replacing the existing one.
The service first launched back in May 2017, allowing users to register .eth domain names and link them to ethereum resources such as smart contracts, wallet addresses, and more. This is a particularly useful application given the complex naming system attached to such resources.

Bittrex, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, announced the addition of another state to its USD market, earlier today. Bittrex has thus expanded its presence to around 40 United States territories, including South Carolina, Washington D.C., Montana, Kentucky, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, and Massachusetts. Notably, this news comes days after the New York State Department of Financial Services [NYDFS] rejected Bittrex’s BitLicense application.

Crypto funds go by many names – cryptocurrency funds, blockchain funds, or digital asset funds. Whatever you call them, the number of crypto funds is on the rise. With rising prices and rising public awareness, there were almost 200 crypto funds launched in 2017. For comparison, there were about 700 total hedge funds launches in this same time. While accounting for 14% of new hedge fund launches may not seem like much, consider that crypto funds have less than .1% of total hedge funds assets. In fact, crypto hedge funds are the fastest growing segment of the hedge fund industry. In addition, several of the top performing hedge funds in 2017 were cryptocurrency funds.
More than 200 hedge funds launched in 2018, though we expect the pace will slow from this record rate throughout 2019. Below we use charts and graphs to examine the cryptocurrency investment fund industry in greater detail.

Alexei Navalny, a politician believed by many to be President Vladimir Putin’s main opponent, has attracted more than 591 BTC in donations over the last three years, worth about $3 million at current prices, public blockchain data shows.
The donations became a flashpoint this week when a pro-Putin television network questioned their timing.
Navalny’s investigative center, the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), regularly publishes exposés of government officials, including prime minister Dimitri Medvedev and attorney general Yuri Chaika.
On Monday, an anonymous Telegram channel, “FBK Staffer’s Confession,” noted that the Navalny organization’s wallet received several large donations a few days before FBK published one such investigation, insinuating it was a paid hit piece. The claim was covered in Russian media, including the pro-Putin Tsargrad TV.

Two US men have pleaded guilty to running a steroid and controlled substance business that laundered millions of dollars in cryptocurrency and Western Union payments.
Representing the first conviction for money laundering involving cryptocurrency by New York State prosecutors, the defendants sold their products, which they made, marketed, and shipped, on a website they controlled called ‘NextDayGear,’ as well as on the dark web.
“These defendants raked in crypto and cash worth millions on their full-service website that sold prescription-free counterfeit steroids and other controlled substances to customers in all 50 states,” said District Attorney Cyrus Roberts Vance Jr.
